TCF:
Totally chlorine free (TCF) means there is no chlorine or chlorine derivatives used to make the paper, which means the paper must come from virgin fibre, including alternatives from sources other than trees.
TIFF:
Image files. TIFF (.TIF) pictures can be black-and-white line art, greyscale or colour. this is a widely used format for image/photographic files.
Tint:
An area of tone made by a pattern of dots, which lightens the apparent colour of the ink with which it is printed.
Tip on/tip in:
Glued and inserted promotional literature e.g. cards and flyers stuck or inserted in specific area or page.
Trapping:
The overlapping between two touching colours that prevents gaps from appearing along the edges of an object because of misalignment or movement on the printing press.
Trim:
The finished size of a printed piece.
Trim areas:
The area or amount of paper removed by cutting to the tick marks.
Turnaround time:
Amount of time needed to complete a project.
