Halftone:
Picture with varying shades of tone created by varying size dots.
Half-sheet Work:
See work-and-turn or work-and-tumble. Involves printing two identical copies on one sheet.
Head margin:
The white space above the first line on a page.
Hexachrome:
A standard enhanced colour system.
Hickey:
Spot or imperfection in printing.
Hot Metal:
Typesetting method in which type is cast from molten metal. Not required with today's computer typesetting programs!
HSB/HSL:
Hue Saturation Brightness (or luminance).
Hue:
The main attribute of a colour.
